Herts Living is a local authority trading company that is 100% owned by Hertfordshire County Council.
Objective
The company’s objective is to provide new homes for the people of Hertfordshire, whilst generating improved long term returns for the Council through involvement in property activities and development in addition to providing advice, facilitation and direct participation in development projects.
Shareholder – Hertfordshire County Council
Shareholder representative – The Deputy Chief Executive, Scott Crudgington, serves as the representative of the shareholder and is responsible for approving the company’s Business Plan and any updates.
HLL reports to the Executive Member Board, chaired by Cllr. Bob Deering. Decision-making levels are determined by the shareholder and enshrined into company operating procedures.
